The Texas Association of Manufacturers promotes and protects a pro-growth business environment that ensures a strong manufacturing sector and a competitive Texas.
Today’s manufacturing sector brings new technologies and consumer goods to the market and drives the Texas economy forward. Manufacturers in Texas account for more than 14.3 percent of the total output in the state – more than $227 billion in 2015 – and manufacturers employ more than 866,000 Texans in jobs that pay an average compensation of more than $82,460 a year.
More than 500 small and large companies from all across the state are members of the Texas Association of Manufacturers (TAM). And, TAM gives a voice to those businesses at the State house and at our nation’s Capital.
TAM works to educate, inform and empower our industry leaders, consumers, policymakers and the media with timely perspective on the issues and concerns impacting the industry and its members’ ability to create jobs, invest, expand and keep Texas prosperous.
