“The Texas Association of Manufacturers continues to monitor development of federal corporate tax reform policy, including discussion of the ‘Better Way Tax Reform’ proposal. At this time, the Texas Association of Manufacturers is neutral on the proposal. While much of the proposal is positive for Texas manufacturers, some provisions, such as border adjustments, require further study. We are hopeful that Congress will work its way toward a final tax reform package that keeps Texas manufacturers competitive and global trade robust.”
