TAM Receives Chairman's Award for Association's Work to Renew Ex-Im Bank
April 12, 2016
The Texas Association of Manufacturers was honored to receive the Chairman's Award for our efforts to urge Congress to reauthorize Ex-Im Bank, our nation’s export credit agency that finances exports of American-made products.
All major exporting countries have a similar credit agency and Ex-Im Bank is a must-have economic tool for exporters in the United States to compete globally. Last year, Congress voted overwhelmingly to renew the Ex-Im Bank, continuing an 80-year history of broad Congressional support for this critical economic tool.
